Most standard deck restorations take between 2-4 days to complete, including chemical cleaning, sanding, and oil application. Larger or more damaged decks may take longer, especially if extensive repairs are needed or weather conditions affect drying times. During your free inspection, we will provide an estimated timeline tailored to your deck's condition.

The frequency of deck restoration depends on several factors, including the type of wood, exposure to the elements, and the level of foot traffic. As a general rule, we recommend restoring your deck every 7 years to maintain its appearance and protect it from long-term damage. Regular annual maintenance can significantly extend the time between full restorations, keeping your deck in top condition year-round. During your free inspection, our specialists will assess your deck and recommend the best maintenance schedule for your needs.

During the restoration process, your deck will not be accessible for safety and quality reasons. The deck needs time to dry between chemical treatments, sanding, and oil application. Once the final coat of oil is applied, we recommend waiting 24-48 hours before using the deck to ensure the finish cures properly and provides long-lasting protection. Our team will provide a clear timeline and guidelines to help you plan around the restoration process.
